1927

Foundation of a wheat stove by Robert Baumann, Ebersdorf near Coburg. After the Second World War, the Büttner craft experienced a short upswing again before it came to a standstill in the course of the later industrialization. Wood containers were replaced by tin containers.

1952

The change to the toy producer formed the foundation stone of today's Roba Baumann GmbH.

Roba Baumann GmbH is expanding its product program and is taking new production and sales channels in Europe with the takeover of the Hungarian kitchen and furniture group Tisza Bútoripari Vállat RT. The focus of the new corporate strategy focuses on high-quality children's and youth furniture, which are produced in Hungary at the highest technical level and are sold as flexible full-growing complete solutions directly into the European market.

2004/2005

In its company history, Roba Baumann GmbH, with the establishment of the "Zheijang Diquing Roba FurnISCHEN CO.LTD", is opening up a new chapter. In the future, 800 employees will produce Roba branded products at the new location, which are characterized by quality, security and child -friendly design. These should invite you to "discover children's worlds" and promote the beautiful, common moments of the proximity between parents and child. The main reasons for the investment in the new production facility are in addition to further optimization of product quality, an increase in production capacity and the timely delivery of all Roba sales channels with safe, trend -friendly products. With the Zheijang Dequing Roba Furnize Co.LTD, the sawmill to the installation and painting will combine the entire production under one roof in the future. This enables production steps from the log to the end product to be perfectly coordinated in terms of time and makes it largely independent of suppliers.
